The Launch of Younger Optics LED-PRO.

Almost the first new SV lens we seem to have enjoyed since a flood of Myopia Control lenses.

This is a long awaited lens for abating the flood of LED lighting now around our 21^st century world which for some is so debilitating they cannot even visit a supermarket, although perhaps something that can be beneficial to their pockets and waistlines!

There is one major drawback dispensers need to be aware of, night driving regulations (ISO-BSI Standards) state any night driving spectacle lens should be no darker than 75%LT (i.e. not a lesser number %) which actually isn’t very dark. We calculate for regular 50mm eye sizing and average 64 PDs this equates to +3.25 max plus lens power, say max 3.5mm lens centre thickness (It’s your responsibility to warn Px’s no night driving in such lenses).

Myopes here are smiling of course because their lenses are usually no thicker than 2.2mm.
