DC also comes with a sturdy plastic over clip but here’s the smart part not just its two peripheral temple magnets but a neat over bridge moulded clip, which takes the weight of heavier Rx lenses and avoids any bowing out of the clip from the flat frame of front.  I.e., totally secure.

This means we can glaze not only with tints, but additional Rx powers for intermediate office or reading tasks, additional prisms to convert distance prism correction for near use.  Photochromic clips, when not everyone wishes to walk around town and office with photochromic progressives and then needing to purchase an additional clear pair, cheaper and more convenient to have clear pair and photochromic clip which then enables totally microsecond colour change! You can then move on to sell a Nupolar polarised sunspec pair or better still a car Drivewear pair!
